Music lovely takes us places without asking us to move, and Anthony Fesmire’s instrumental rock single, “Dream,” does exactly that. From its powerful opening to its expressive melodic passages, this track feels like a journey through different shades of emotion. It begins with a bold statement, builds with confidence, and slowly reveals its softer, more thoughtful side. Released on September 25, “Dream” is an engaging musical experience that balances strength and sensitivity, giving listeners plenty of reasons to press play again.
Based in Southern California, Anthony Fesmire is a guitarist, composer, and professor whose musical interests span rock, jazz, and metal. His versatility is reflected in his solo work and his band Outside Pedestrian, with releases including “The Quiet Road,” the four-album collection Time Zones, and the single “Speedway.” “Dream” shows off his passion for musical exploration.
The track opens with heavy guitar chords, setting a dramatic tone before the organ introduces playful improvisations. As the main theme unfolds, guitar and organ combine beautifully. This results in an energetic and richly textured performance. Fesmire’s confident guitar work, alongside the warmth and character of the organ, creates a dynamic arrangement supported by his excellent musicianship.
What makes “Dream” specifically enjoyable is its balance of powerful rock passages and softer melodic moments. The heavier sections bring energy and excitement, while the expressive guitar melodies add depth and emotion. The production is polished and allows every instrument to shine without overcrowding the arrangement.
As the first single from his upcoming album, Against the Current, “Dream” is a promising introduction to what lies ahead. Its changing moods capture the determination, excitement, and hope associated with chasing one’s dreams. With impressive musicianship, memorable melodies, and heartfelt expression, Anthony Fesmire delivers an instrumental rock track well worth hearing.
