Sleepy Hallow & Lil Tjay Link Up For “Pain Talk”

Sleepy Hallow has been in the news as of late. Overall, it has not been for the best of reasons. He was arrested and indicted alongside Sheff G for their alleged involvement in a string of shootings in Brooklyn. Thirty-two people were arrested as part of this sting, and it remains to be seen what will happen to these artists. However, it is clear that Hallow still has every intention of dropping some new music. His fans are eager to hear what he is working on, and as we have seen, artists can still drop music even when locked up.

That said, when Sleepy Hallow does work with people, he usually stays within the Brooklyn drill scene. There are plenty of artists he has worked with in the past, and they are always ready to collaborate with him some more. Among these artists is none other than Lil Tjay. Although Tjay works within various genres of hip-hop, he still stays true to his New York routes. He and Sleepy Hallow have done tracks together before, and today, they dropped a brand-new collab.

This track is called “Pain Talk” and it will certainly impress fans of this particular scene. Overall, the formula is all there. From the soft guitar-laced pop sample to the drill drums, this sound is unmistakable. As for Sleepy Hallow, he handles the chorus here all while also giving a prolonged verse. Halfway through the song, Lil Tjay takes over and it is very clear that these two have solid chemistry.

Moving forward, it will be interesting to see what is next for Sleepy Hallow. Legal issues aside, fans are always looking forward to what he may do next. Notable Lyrics:

Feel like me and the judge in the race
If I crash, she gon’ lock me away
Got a Perc’, I might pop it today
Said I’d stop but I’m stuck in my ways
And I work like I’m tryna get a raise
