Jennifer Alvarado, a Vale, North Carolina-based artist, is no new to us following a handful of SongWeb evaluations. Due to her groovy tunes, she’s one of the best artists I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Owing her songwriting prowess, Jennifer was selected “One to Watch” by the Nashville Songwriters Association in Spring 2021 and 2022, as well as “2021 Country Artist of the Year” by Indie Star Radio, establishing a name for herself in the music industry. On October 7th, she released “Catfish,” an exciting and well-written song that she delivered with fantastic precision and passion, injecting a lot of fire into the tune.

Jennifer’s newest track “Catfish” has her wonderful voice complimented by fascinating musicianship. The song combines Jennifer’s influences, which are recognized for making the track more appealing with grooving and surging synthetic sounds that provide the major driving element that pulls us to the last beat. “Catfish,” which lasts 3 minutes and 39 seconds, is an immersive sparkling rock soundscape that adds a lot of attractiveness to the musical setting. The beats and melodies have a firm hold on the mix, and her enthusiasm is infectious, loud, and clear, making the song of high caliber.

“Catfish,” the song with Jennifer’s incredible vocals that captures our attention to the music, transports us on an expedition through delightful scenery. It’s a song about using a fictitious internet persona to get someone into a relationship. The song is about those who establish phony profiles of others on social media to convince someone to fall in love with them. Such linkages are reflected in the songs’ narrative tapestry.

Overall, “Catfish” keeps a steady tempo, and Jennifer’s magnificent vocals guarantee that the song has professional polish. As a result, we can’t help but sway to it. She accomplished a terrific performance on this composition with easy-to-grasp lyrics and enticing rhythms that keep the song living, featuring soothing percussion and appealing melodies. “Catfish” was written by Alvarado and produced by Ricky Rodriguez at Bombhouse Studios in Morganton, North Carolina, and is the first song from Jennifer’s highly anticipated EP “Songbird: Part 2,” which will be released in late Winter.
